My despatch 6th September No.395 Estimates 1930 Head 13(b) Air Service subhead 4 annual subsidy $30,000 and subhead 6 initial grant of $60,000 for Flying Club was fully supported by the Unofficials. Estimates were finally passed on 23rd September and were forwarded together with report of debate with my despatch of 26th September No.420. It is important that the Club should
be ready to start as soon as possible in the New Year to take a advantage of the few remaining months of settled weather and I am anxious to make arrangements in advance. Accordingly request that I may receive your decision on these votes by telegraph.
